Nails by Lauren

When Denise was on maternity leave in February we needed to hire someone to help out with her clients.  We were lucky enough to find Lauren Watson and we liked her so much that we invited her to join our team even after Denise returned.  We're so glad to have Lauren with us and just love having her around.  She has so much talent and always produces such cute designs!  Here are a few of her nails:

Lashes

Eyelash extensions are the newest craze and it's no surprise why!  You have gorgeous lashes that last for weeks and they cut down the time it takes you to get ready in the morning.  Keisha and Melinda are both licensed to do lashes and both ladies do an incredible job!  Call us for details and for info on the current specials!  Here are some before and after photos:

One Year Anniversary

We celebrated our One Year Anniversary on June 13.  We held a HUGE drawing and raffled off several prizes and spa treatments and celebrated with delicious cookies and a cake.  We want to extend an ENORMOUS thank you to all our friends and clients who have supported us this last year. We couldn't have kept in business without you!

Catch Up

Whew!!  Things have sure been busy at the salon!!  We've hired a few new girls and are SUPER excited to have them as part of our team!  Here are a few small bios about each girl:

Kara Smart:  Kara has been doing hair for almost 18 years and will be sharing her time between another salon in Tooele and working with us on Friday. This news should make her Grantsville clients extra happy! Kara has years of experience and loves staying up on her education. After 18 years of doing hair she still loves every minute of it and couldn't imagine her life any other way She was raised in Tooele and is definitely a local girl at heart! Kara has been married to her sweetheart Matt Smart for 14 1/2 years and they have 3 amazing little boys who definitely keep her running! "Doin hair is kinda my calm in life!"  Stop in on a Friday and say hi to Kara!

Lauren Watson:  Lauren is a licensed nail technician who completed her training at Color My Nails School of Nail Technology in Midvale, Utah. Lauren loves fashion and has a passion for learning the new fun trends for nails and toes! She offers manicures and pedicures, gel polish, glitter toes, and acrylics. She is committed to further education and is currently a sophomore at the University of Utah. Lauren enjoys meeting new people and is excited to be joining the Mad About Beauty team!

Amber Adams:  Amber is a Grantsville native. She attended cosmetology school at the Aveda Institute in Provo and has been doing hair three years. She considers herself a "color specialist" and loves a challenge! Amber has two little ones who keep her busy outside of salon life.

Prom 2014

We sure had fun doing hair, nails, and makeup for Prom this year!  The girls who came in were so fun and just adorable!!  Hopefully they had as much fun as we did!  Check out the looks created!  Hair and makeup done by Melinda Smith and nails done by Denise Groves.

Photo Shoot

In celebration of the annual Old Folks Sociable, the girls of Mad About Beauty dressed up during the week with fashion from different eras.  On Friday we all dressed ready to celebrate the 50's and had a little photo shoot!  We sure had fun and had quite a few laughs too!
